Bahia de Los Angeles (The Bay of Los Angeles)
So what kinds of cool stuff does a marine biologist do? This was one trip where me and my friends from work spent a week in paradise. Well it was paradise for those who liked heat anyways :). The trip takes about twelve hours by car, but it was soo cool. Every night we'd fall asleep under the stars and wake up with a sunrise on the ocean. Me and my boss fished almost every day, we even had pride fishing tournaments (we tied at the end). We spent many days fishing, one day me and fuk ran into a school of giant squid to 40 lbs (see the fishing page). We hiked, swam, slept and ate. And of course every day was an adventure.
This is the view we woke up to every day! We slept on the porch and had a spectacular view.

This is at the reverse waterfall at smith's island, we had the greatest time swimming there and I speared a huge mullet in the current.
We caught fish every day right from the shore. Here's a blind one that spooky managed to snag in the head with one of his lame ass casts. Okay not to rub it in boys, but the score that day was oak 27 fish, fuk 25 fish, spooky 3 fish, marko 3 fish.
This was cheryls birthday nite, we all wrapped up presents that we found in the ocean, most of it was crap but oh welz its the thought that counts. Remember that when I make your xmas present too!
